    Position Description:
    Provides for the welfare, protection, and security to the GCNA Board Chair or other members of the Executive Leadership Team by performing executive protection assignments. Works closely with Asset Protection Services to ensure the consistency and the quality of the program falls within company policies.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Picks up the GCNA Board Chair at a designated location and drives them to and from events and destinations.
    • Conducts ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments related to Executive activity.
    • Provides for the welfare, protection, and security to the assigned by performing executive protection driving assignments.
    • Must be flexible and be available to the Board Chair as needed, coordinating directly with the Board Chair and/or their assistant to determine the driving schedule.
    • Transports the Board Chair or members of the Executive Leadership Team to and from meetings and events, as needed.
    • Works directly with contracted public and private security details assigned to events with Executive presence.
    • Develops and implements alternative methods for security operation improvement related to Executive activity.
    • In coordination with the Asset Protection Team, assists in the preparation of emergency management and contingency planning related to Executive activity.
    • Provides services through surveillance, close protection, emergency management in line with company policy, transportation logistics and event safety.
    • Works closely with VP, Asset Protection & Organizational Risk for event safety to ensure coordination of services.
    • Works with VP, Asset Protection & Organizational Risk on preventative security programs related to executive protection to include comprehensive training related to position.
    • Attends events as required with the Board Chair, providing ongoing surveillance, security and protection.
    • Safeguards and maintains highly sensitive and confidential information.
    • Maintains separation of services and duties by providing services and functions limited to security responsibilities only.
    • Coordinates activities within security area, identifying and resolving security related problems.
    • Performs all job-related duties within company policy with consistency and integrity.
    • Maintains a strong working relationship with VP, Asset Protection & Organizational Risk to ensure services are consistent, professional and well organized.
    • Successfully completes all required position training, background clearance, drug screening, physical agility and other position requirements.
    • Successfully completes all annual training and certification requirements that are required on an annual basis.
    • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

    • Ability to efficiently and effectively assess situations, evaluate information, and make sound decisions
    • Willingness to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required
    • Demonstrates professionalism, business acumen and a drive to follow through and execute business needs
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
    • Ability to partner with others on security requirements and policies related to position
    • Must be able to physically and mentally pass all required security training
    • Valid drivers license and clean MVR
    • Must maintain auto insurance at all times which is equal to or in excess of the state minimum
    • Ability to pass an extensive criminal background check, financial check, fingerprint clearance, and drug screen
