    Assistant Nurse Manager for Med/Surg and Intermediate Care Unit

    An award-winning, patient-centered hospital seeks an experienced Assistant Manager of the Intermediate Care and Med/SurgUnit to join a prestigioushealthcareorganization in Central Delaware.

    This 300+ bed, magnet-designated facilityis part of one of the largesthealthcaresystems in Delaware and is recognized nationally. They also received a Consumer Reports award for excellence in general nursing and overall quality of care.

    The Clinical Coordinator of the IMCand Med/Surg will report directly to the nurse manager and be supported by a dynamic team in the daily operations of the nursing unit/department on a 24 hour basis. The Intermediate Care/ Med-Surg Unit Clinical Coordinator provides direct supervision of staff and rotates weekend, holiday and shifts as needed to ensure management presence and visibility according to departmental needs. The Clinical Coordinator participates in employee selection and evaluation, in scheduling and staffing, and in the development and adherence to clinical and budgetary standards. The Assistant Manager provides leadership to unit based work groups ie unit committees. The role also requires providing and coordinating direct patient care.

    The ideal candidate will hold aBSNand have 1 year of related experience. The preferred candidate will hold aMSNand have 3 years of experience. Current DE RN or compact license is required.
