    Registered Nurse Sr

    Leidos QTC Health Services is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to support our Secret Service clinic in Washington DC.

    What part would you play in this role?

    The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for working directly with current and up and coming Secret Service members. You will work as part of a team to ensure fit for duty exams are completed including blood draws, hearing testing and other duties as assigned.

    In this rewarding role, you will:

    • Responsible for delivery of quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation as related to an occupational health setting.
    • Coordinate medical care for injured workers including assessment of work-related injuries, illness, and triage of required care for follow-up of recommended services or injury protocol.
    • Participate in return-to-work assessments adhering to policy and procedure and medical provider protocol.
    • Conduct health screenings (e.g., health history, physical assessment, drug screening and other updates as needed)
    • Conducts drug screens utilizing and following best practice Chain of Custody (COC) for drug screening and applicable and associated security protocols for specimen deliver, testing, and transfer as necessary.
    • Maintain accurate, detailed injury and drug testing reports and maintains medical records in accordance with local, state and federal regulations and company policy.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by higher medical authority

    You must have:

    • BSN in Nursing
    • US Citizenship
    • Must possess a current, active, full, clean and clear, and an unrestricted Nursing License with CPR (AED) certification required.
    • ACLS/ATLS certification highly preferred
    • Occupational Hearing Conservationist (OHC) Certification or the ability to successfully completion of
      certification within 90 days of notification
    • Must be able and willing to complete annual Respiratory Fit testing and properly wear organizational.
      standard respiratory protective equipment as required.
    • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
    • Must be eligible to obtain Government Clearances (LARS/Public Trust Clearance)
    • Receive a medical clearance that consists of passing an N95 respirator fit test, pass a Tuberculosis/TB test and receive a Hepatitis A/B vaccine series or pass a Hepatitis A/B Titer test.

    Typical Day:

    • Position is located ONSITE at the USSSF in Washington DC (address: 950 H St. NW #6100 Washington DC, DC 20223)
    • Rotating shifts are between Mon - Fri 8am 4:30pm EST no weekends
    • All Federal holidays observed

    Pay and Benefits:

    Hourly Rates are based on experience and education. Plus potential quarterly bonuses.

    • Registered Nurse Asc (0-1 yrs of exp) = $37.44 - $39.41 per hr
    • Registered Nurse (1-3 yrs of exp) = $41.20 - $43.37 per hr
    • Registered Nurse Sr (3- 5 yrs of exp) = $48.73 - $51.36 per hr
    • Registered Nurse Stf (5 + yrs of exp) = $54.82 - $54.71 per hr
    • Registered Nurse Sr Stf (10 + yrs of exp) = $70.00 - $78.23per hr
