An exciting opening for the Float Pool Assistant Nurse Manager just became available in the East Bay region in California.

The Float Pool Assistant Nurse Manager will join this 200+ beds award winning facility that has earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval and Advanced Certification in Stroke (Primary Stroke Center). It also received a four star rating for Inpatient Care Management from the Leapfrog Group. The Float Pool Assistant Nurse Manager will join a health system that offers continual growth and opportunity to develop throughout ones career.

Reporting to the Director of Inpatient Services, the Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee a busy medsurg, intensive care, as well as float pool units and will be supported by a team of outstanding charge nurses, staff nurses, CNAs, and medical providers.

The Float Pool Assistant Nurse Manager will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supporting the staff's ability to meet patient needs. This will include developing and supporting educational initiatives, serving as a mentor to new leaders, and being a champion for quality improvement throughout the department. The Float Pool Assistant Nurse Manager will also take on administrative duties in the department, including oversight and maintenance of the budget, recruitment and retention of staff, and this person will serve as the operations liaison.
