Organizational Change Manager
Job Description:
GDIT is looking for an Organizational Change Manager (OCM) for the USCENTCOM CITS Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL. The appropriate candidate will lead the development and implementation of OCM/Strategic Communications plans to ensure OCM and stakeholder engagement best practices across the CITS program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position supports the CITS Program by assisting the USCENTCOM J6 with managing all aspects of change associated with the transformation of the organization to align with business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures. Implements the Full Lifecycle User Engagement model, augmented by strategic communications, to establish the foundation for change, manage and implement change across the organization, and help sustain change through complete tool adoption and future enhancements. Ensures that the OCM approach and enablers required for each stage of User Engagement change are effectively implemented and collaborates with mission stakeholders and the requirements leads to make sure technical requirements align to user requirements. Works with the training team to lead the development of training and coaching programs to ensure users are comfortable with the systems after adoption.
Education and/or Certifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Performance Technology, or Organizational Communications or related field with 10 years of experience
- Prosci/ADKAR certification
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification or Higher
Desired:
- Master's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Performance Technology, Organizational Communications or related field with 5 years of experience
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading the design and implementation of Organizational Change Management strategies in Enterprise IT environments
- Knowledge of the process areas being transformed and an understanding of how the process, including supporting system(s), integrates with other processes and initiatives
- Knowledge and experience in end-user training strategy
- Adept at learning an understanding the CITS mission, creating internal partnerships, fostering collaboration and recommending strategies that fit the USCENTCOM culture
- Competent in diagnosing individual and organizational performance improvement needs, matching intervention methodology with needs, and determining the appropriate development measures
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand terms to all levels of management including senior leaders
- Possesses strong analytical skills, good listening skills with ability to effectively coach and mentor others; must be able to lead by influence
Desired Skills:
- Experience with USCENTCOM and be familiar with its mission
- Knowledge of USCENTCOM's products and services, customer requirements, purpose and structure
- Accreditation in executing change management strategies and partnering with organizational team leads in the design, development and implementation of plans
Clearance and Travel Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI eligibility required
- 10% or less travel
