    Responsibilities

    Provision and documentation of patient care: provide and document occupational therapy treatment to patients. Supervise assigned staff. Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals. Individuals must comply with the Texas Occupational Therapy Practice Acts and Rules.


    Qualifications

    Job Requirements

    • COTA licensed in the state of Texas
    • CPR certified from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
    • Computer usage required EMR EPIC documentation
    • Ability to effectively function as part of a multi-disciplinary team
    • Ability to supervise, delegate and communicate with multiple team members
    • High organized with excellent follow-through skills
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

    Preferred Job Requirements

    • COTA experience in an acute care hospital and/or rehabilitation facility
