    Job Description:

Were actively seeking a talented Platform Delivery Lead to join our Underwriting & Life New Business Technology team. This role can be hybrid in Newport Beach, CA; Lynchburg, VA or 100% remote.

    As a Platform Delivery Lead, youll play a key role in Pacific Lifes growth and long-term success by managing a key Underwriting platform. You will collaborate with Underwriting leads, other Technology team members and product owners to support transformational priorities and to ensure the seamless operation of our platform and the delivery of an exceptional end user experience. This includes coordination of new releases and interdependent deployments, addressing technical debt to ensure system stability, and prioritizing work to ensure efficient and effective incremental deliveries. You will fill a new role that sits on an existing Technology team in the Consumer Markets Division. Your colleagues will include project managers, architects, and Agile delivery team members.

    How you will make an impact:

    • Serve as the central point of contact for assigned platform(s). This role crosses the full system lifecycle from production support, break-fix/defect resolution, enhancement requests and transformation project initiatives
    • Lead a cross-functional Platform team of architects, analysts, scrum masters, developers, and QA
    • Continuously monitor the performance of platform and supporting systems, to identify and address bottlenecks and areas for improvement
    • Drive initiatives to enhance platform and supporting system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
    • Communicate effectively with platform stakeholders


    The experience you will bring:

    • 8+ years of experience in systems and platform delivery & administration
    • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and systems, including cloud platforms
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills
    • Ability to balance multiple demands from various business partners to manage capacity, planning, execution and delivery to meet business objectives

    • Knowledge of Life Insurance products

    Base Pay Range:

    The base pay range noted represents the companys good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

    $105,390.00 - $128,810.00
