    Summary of Major ResponsibilitiesThe Screening Access Strategy Manager supports the market access strategy development for the Exact Sciences screening business unit.Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Lead access strategy responsibilities around payor messaging, payer product dossier development, payor policy monitoring, payor appeals, and payor market research associated with the screening franchise, in collaboration with access marking, financial planning and analytics, revenue cycle and medical affairs.* Ensure all team members, and others across the organization, are well equipped with the access knowledge necessary to support their respective roles, in collaboration with access marking, financial planning and analytics, revenue cycle and medical affairs.* Support the development and implementation of advisory boards aimed to help drive strategy for screening product adoption from a market access perspective.* Act as the direct line of contact across SOPH and market access teams; support all their strategy needs to secure coverage and drive revenue including custom payor/ purchaser materials in collaboration with access marketing.* Act as the direct line of contact across the screening commercial organization providing insights and updates which are anticipated to impact patient and provider experience.* Attend and represent SOPH at internal meetings within the screening franchise when payor/ coverage subject matter expertise.* Drive clear and consistent communication of screening market access needs across various cross functional departments within SOPH and organization wide.* Develop and implement communication strategies for payor outreach around screening products.* Support a teamwork approach engaging with various departments to support market access and reimbursement needs.* Express a learner mentality striving to become a product expert to support SOPH initiatives in screening.* Exude leadership qualities striving to support the growth of the department.* Strong knowledge base of commercial, Medicare and Medicaid payer markets and how they operate in given geographies.* Strong organization skills and attention to detail.* Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.* Ability to identify, address, and influence customer needs.* Ability to distill complex information into concise and impactful messages/presentations.* Strong oral and written communication skills, with strong presentation development and execution skills.* Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.* Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.* Maintain regular and reliable attendance.* Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.* Ability to travel 30% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties.* 4+ years of experience working in market access/reimbursement or experience working in a leadership role in medical sales in a business-to-business environment.* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.* Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.* Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.Preferred Qualifications* Understanding of key public and private payer policy infrastructure, payment methodologies; coding and coverage; health policy trends, and current business challenges.* Demonstrated strong project management skills and business acumen.* Demonstrated consistent career progression with increasing levels of responsibility; performed above expectations in professional roles.We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
