    Registered Nurse / RN - Emergency Department (ER)
    Shift: Nights 7pm-7am

    PRN Level 2 Requirements:
    4 (12 hour) shifts per pay period
    2 major & 1 minor holiday

    As part of the Elite Emergency (ED) Nursing Float Pool, Registered Nurses deliver professional nursing care to all patients presenting to the Emergency Department (ED) providing holistic, individualized patient care in response to emergent, identified needs. Follows the Board of Nursings (BON) Standards of Nursing Practice utilizing the nursing process in care delivery. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions within the parameters of their legal scope of practice and in accordance with Emergency Nurse Association (ENA) standards; the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of Medical City Healthcare.

    Qualifications:

    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support
    • ENPC
    • TNCC
    • Current Texas State RN license
    • Bachelors Degree
    • Must be willing to float between designated facilities in the East POD: Dallas, Denton, Frisco, Las Colinas, Lewisville, McKinney, Plano
    • 2+ yrs of ER RN experience required
    • Level 1 trauma preferred
