ThisClinical Nurse Specialist will join an established team on the oncology unit to assist with managing complex patient care, assist in patient education, utilize evidence based practice to ensure highest quality standards of care are upheld, collaborate with all members of the unit team to foster professional performance and continuing education, and teach/guide patients and their families through disease processes, medications, surgeries, treatments, and long term expectations.

It is required that this Oncology Nurse Edcuator has a BSNas well as a Masters as a Clinical Nurse Specialist(Nursing Education) and an activeNYSRN license.This RN Educator should also have previous clinical experience in an oncology unit (ideally with oncology education experience in an acute care setting).
