Description
The Leidos Defense Group has multiple openings for Security Architects at Warner Robbins, GA and JBLE, VA.These openings are for both Journeyman and Senior level. These positions are part of a large Military Intelligence Program supporting the USAF Air Combat Commands Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS).
These positions are supporting a proposal. We are expecting award and funding of these positions in February 2024.
Responsibilities:
The Security Architect designs enterprise and systems security for the interface and integration of Cloud services with DCGS hardware and software.
Translates technology and security laws, regulations, policies, and procedures into security designs and processes.
Develops, documents, and integrates cybersecurity architecture designs for current and new systems, networks, and interfaces to meet security requirements. Documents information security, cybersecurity architecture, security controls, and systems security engineering requirements.
Ensures acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) meet cybersecurity architecture guidelines.
Performs security reviews, identifies gaps in security architecture, and develops a security risk management plan.
Develops system security CONOPS and defines baseline system security requirements.
Evaluates security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design. Provides input to the Risk Management Framework process and documents.
Ensures appropriate disaster recovery and continuity of operations requirements include appropriate fail-over/alternate site requirements, backup requirements, and material supportability requirements for system recover/restoration.
Develops security compliance and data management processes and audits for external services (e.g., cloud services).
Documents elements of the software attack surfaces, conducts threat modeling, and defines security criteria.
Qualifications will vary on level, but will mostly require:
Bachelors degree and at least 4 years of related work experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen; must possess a current DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Proof of certifications is required on the employment start date.
Certifications in: CASP+, Security+, GCIH, Cloud+, CISSP, Security+, CySA+, A+, Network+
Previous AF DCGS weapon system experience is highly desired.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
