Quality Inspector
Description
Leidos Mid-Atlantic Depot located in Chesapeake; VA has an opening for an Entry Level: Quality Inspector working with the Quality team. The selected candidate will support the FAA ERAM programs in conducting quality oversight related to incoming products, repairing of communication equipment, purchased material and shipments. The ideal candidates knowledge and comprehension of the Mid Atlantic Depots quality standards is essential to ensure that we deliver quality products that meet our customer's high standards.
Responsibilities
Ensures adherence to programs Quality Management System and procedures.
Performs incoming inspection of repairable, purchased parts and shipping of materials.
Ensures products meets requirements and customers expectations.
Utilizes programs supporting documentation to determine authorized parts substitution.
Reviews, updates, and submits Excel spreadsheets for items processed in bulk.
Reviews documentation and test data reports for compliance
Identifies and documents nonconformities (Material Discrepancy Report, Rejection Reports, etc.)
Updates database throughout processes
Processes equipment determined as Beyond Economical Repair
Supports facilitys audit program (Inventories and Processes)
Qualifications
Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1 3+ years of prior relevant experience.
Capability to follow Quality processes and procedures.
Ability to review test results and supporting documentation for conformance.
Experience with Microsoft Office
Good oral, written and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
IPC-A-610 Solder Certification
Experience with ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
Auditing experience
Understanding of detailed mechanical drawings

Pay Range $37,050.00 - $66,975.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
