As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to help research and architect Systems Integration Lab (SIL) hardware and software systems, and then support the modeling, simulation, and test activities. You'll be working on complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test using progressive tools. As a cross functional engineer, you'll perform system and component-level integration of new products and develop new integration processes throughout the product lifecycle.

    Responsibilities:

    • Excel as the primary interface to customer technical representatives, co-contractors, and sub- contractors in fast-paced, high-visibility, delivery environment
    • Lead Integration, Verification, & Validation efforts for complex systems, sub-systems, and components
    • Support a geographically dispersed engineering team on large product integration and test efforts

    Must-haves:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study and typically 6 or moreyears of relevant experience
    • Thoroughknowledge of engineering principles and practices.
    • Experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teams
    • Understanding and experience with the practical application of requirements development and management, system design, systems integration, technical risk identification, management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
    • Experience creating technical documentation, test plans & procedures, and test reports and ability to execute test procedures and document results
    • Thorough understanding of systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
    • Familiar with environmental, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and electromagnetic interference (EMI) qualifications (DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461)
    • Experience with lab test equipment to include signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers
    • Active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or above)

    Preferred:

    • Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as ENOVIA Requirements Management, Cameo, Dymola, and MATLAB
    • Practical knowledge of industry standard system engineering design principles, to include, but not limited to requirements management, traditional and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
    • Experience and certification in INCOSE standards (ASEP/CSEP)
    • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
    • Experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
    • Thorough understanding of establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)

    Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
