    Cost Accounting Supervisor

    The Supervisor Cost Accounting position is a key member of the Enterprise Finance GlobalCost Accounting Team. The Cost Accounting Supervisor position holds global responsibility for Costing functions and is highly engaging and collaborative as it will work across Oracle ERPs, global regions both domestic and international, finance networks, and commercial groups.

    This position will be primarily responsible for leading a team of direct reports in supporting the Oracle 11i and Oracle Cloud ERP. Key job responsibilities of this team include but are not limited to the development of annual standard costs and re-rolls, monthly maintenance of STND & SAC cost scenarios, 11i and Cloud system maintenance, monthly accounting entries, results reviews and variance explanations, and other strategic projects such as supporting the rolling implementations of Oracle Cloud. This role is a primary point-of-contact and key liaison between Operations/Selling divisions for various aspects of global cost accounting and product costing.

    Primary position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Collaborate extensively across the Finance network, GSC, and Commercial Divisions as a primary point-of-contact for various aspects of cost accounting and product costing.
    • Work closely with Global Cost Accounting Manager and Global Costing Director on key initiatives and monthly/annual processes and reporting.
    • Lead the development and presentation of annual and re-rolled standard costs for all manufactured and purchased goods for Oracle 11i and Oracle Cloud locations.
    • Lead a team of direct reports - including the oversight of all daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly responsibilities such as standard monthly accounting entries, new product costing, and variance analysis. Provide leadership and foster growth and success amongst the team.
    • Provide Commercial Passthrough Forecast of incurred variances, post month end journal entries as required.
    • Ensure accuracy of STND and SAC cost scenarios. Ensure proper daily maintenance of system costs, errors, holds, and daily create-accounting functions.
    • Execute strategic projects such as contributing as a business process owner in the BIOS Cloud design and implementation project. Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects to contribute to maximizing efficiency and profit for GSC and Commercial divisions.
    • Ensure timely review of balance sheet reconciliations such as PPV, REVAL, and capitalized variances.
    • Assist with audit requests, as assigned.
    • Implement and design standard procedures and policies. Identify synergies, standardization, and automation opportunities to align and enhance our global costing footprint.
    • Role will support the transitions onto the Oracle Cloud platform and have other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned.

    Experience Required:

    • Bachelor's Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or a similar Business degree.
    • 4-5 years of accounting experience.
    • Experience with standard cost development and cost accounting principles.
    • Experience with the Oracle platform (Cloud and/or 11i)

    Experience Preferred:

    • Experience working cross-functionally and multi-nationally.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel.
    • Prior supervisory experience.
    • Experience with developing reporting, projects, and variance accounting.

    Travel: 10%
