    Responsibilities / Tasks

    As a Field Service Technician, you will be tasked to evaluate, troubleshoot and repair the GEA Mechanical Equipment at various customer sites and various industries.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Troubleshoot, install and repair GEA equipment at customer site.

    • Basic PLC parameter entry

    • Performserviceandproperly fill outand submit reports and related documents.

    • Investigate problems, make repair recommendations and perform equipment upgrades.

    • Perform in house repair and testing of equipment as needed.

    • Perform preventative maintenance services.

    • Work the necessary hours, including reasonable overtime as required, to satisfy the customer and/or complete the task.

    • Follow up with customers and affiliates as required.

    • Perform the required research needed to provide the customers with the correct parts, diagrams, documents, etc.

    • Travel up to 80%

    • Contributes to team effort by completing all tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

    Your Profile / Qualifications

    To qualify for this technical position, you must possess the following skills and experiences:

    • Good communication skills

    • Mechanical Aptitude

    • Be able to read and assess mechanical diagrams and identify parts.

    • Computer literate

    • Familiarity with GMP requirements

    • Positive work ethic and enthusiasm

    • Possess or be able to obtain a valid passport.

    • Must be able to meet travel requirementsfor Canadato support service as needed.
