    As Network and Telecommunications Sr. Manager, a typical day may include:


    Manage teams responsible for the planning, design, deployment, operation, maintenance, and support of on-premises and cloud-based physical and virtual telephony and network platforms as well as integrations with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms supporting a multi-site enterprise and 24x7x365 critical life safety systems serving Brinks Home customers.

    What youll do:

    • Own the technical strategy, goals, and plans for your team's success and contribute to the organizations overall strategy, objectives, and technology direction. Champion modern solutions and new ways to solve existing challenges.
    • Partner with IT Security to deliver on key information security and IT risk-related initiatives. Furthermore, ensure compliance with patching and vulnerability policies established within the organization.
    • Help the team solve conflicting priorities and make timely, effective decisions.
    • Demonstrate strong management skills and drive results within the team.
    • Provide technical direction, coaching, and mentoring to employees on the team, and others, when necessary to achieve successful short- and long-term outcomes.
    • Manage implementation of new/upgraded systems via well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines, and accountability.
    • Evaluate and recommend new products, systems, and services to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
    • Led team to perform detailed Root Cause Analysis and implement solutions to prevent the recurrence of system impacts or outages.
    • Regularly monitors system uptime, capacity, and health as well as providing reports to leadership.
    • Manage service contracts, maintenance agreements renewals, and vendor relationships, including contractors.
    • Assist with Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and documentation.
    • Create an environment where employee feedback facilitates positive change.
    • Participate in budgeting processes. Ensure a process and culture to sustain budgetary accountability within the team.
    • Participate in 24x7 on-call and system outage/triage responsibilities as well as project-related work requiring off-hours (nights/weekends/holiday) support.
    • Perform other related duties and/or projects as directed by leadership.

    What you bring to the table:

    • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems Management or related experience
    • Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience managing Network and/or Telecom teams.
    • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience leading IT teams in a multi-site, multi-carrier enterprise.
    • Desired platform experience includes:
      • Avaya and ancillary platforms (i.e. ACD, IVR, CMS, etc.)
      • Cloud-based PaaS telephony platforms
      • Customer-facing digital channel chat platforms
      • Cisco
      • Palo Alto
      • Cisco Meraki
      • Zero Trust / SASE architectures
    • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and M365 platforms as well as leading integrations to 3rdparty platforms
    • 5+ years of experience leading projects leveraging Agile and Kanban methodologies.
    • Experience with the design, implementation, and operation of servers and systems platforms required.
    • Ability to work with a diverse group of people both technically and functionally as well as communicate at a level appropriate to theaudience.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
    • Highly motivated team player with excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to translate vision and strategy into clear actionable goals, establish priorities and achieve measurable results.
    • Track record of establishing and maintaining collaborative cross-organizational partnerships to achieve results.
