The MedSurg RN Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Nurse Manager in the day to day clinical operation of the MedSurg department. They are looking for a strong clinician who possesses leadership qualities such as an open communicator, a calm demeanor during stressful situations, and a mentor for staff.. The Clinical Lead RN must stay up to date on education, seek opportunities for staff growth and development, and adhere to all hospital and unit policies and procedures, and provide the most up to date, evidence based care.

Educational requirements for this position include BSN, BLS, and Certified MedSurg Registered Nursing Certification or Critical Care Registered Nursing Certification. The RN Supervisor should also have at least 2 years of clinical experience in the acute care hospital setting..
