    What you will do

    Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality installations.

    How you will do it

    • Performroutine inspections, testing, servicing, installing and preventative maintenance of life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturer's product line.
    • Learn to complete Install Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as laptop computers and/or hard copy.
    • Follow and maintain a highly structured installation schedule.
    • Complete assigned installations on time.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    What we look for

    Required

    • Idaho State low voltage license or electrical Journeymans license.
    • Must be willing and able to travel 50% of the time. Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation, nights, and occasional weekends to meet customer requirements.
    • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. Candidate must not have difficulty with heights and be able to distinguish between different colors.
    • Five years of experience in the security systems industry.
    • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals.
    • Experience with hand tools, multi-meter usage and handheld power tools.
    • Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.
    • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
    • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
    • Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
    • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
    • Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.

    Preferred

    • One or more certifications in one of these - exacqVision, Bosch, C-Cure, Lenel, Kantech, AMAG, Hirsch, Genetec, or VMS.
    • Ability to obtain a NICET II certification within 1 year or be enrolled in the NICET program.
