Position Title: Packager Day or Night Shift

Wage: $19.00 per hour

Shift: Day or Night

Hours: 12-hour (2-2-3 schedule)

Packager Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Transfer, open, load, and blend bulk of materials in the blending machine per specifications.

- Load ingredients by hand per blending records.

- Complete and maintain all required paperwork for final inspection by Supervisor.

- Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work area.

- Scoop small sample materials blended for Quality Inspection.

- Transfer and stage blended materials to next stage of manufacturing process.

- Place bag(s) on line for machine to fills bags with products.

- When the bag is filled, guide bag for proper sealing.

- Put labels on bags.

- Set up, adjust, and operate packaging equipment on a moving assembly line following established procedures.

- Operate forklift as needed - Client will train and certify employees.

Packager Requirements:

- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds frequently.

- Must be able to work in a hot work environment.

- Repetitive work in a fast-paced environment.

- Frequent handling/moving product using arm, hand, wrist, and shoulder movement.

- Attention to detail.

- Has basic mathematics skills.

- Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hand tools.

- Forklift experience is preferred.

- Ability to read, comprehend, and prepare production worksheets in English.

- Must have a great attitude, solid work ethic and be reliable.
