HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR TEAM(Overview & Key Responsibilities):
The Field Service Technician for Lube-Tech will install and service equipment such as rotary lifts, fluid dispensing pumps, steel and poly liquid and lubricant storage tanks, DEF storage equipment, and other related equipment. This person will provide excellent customer service, responding to customer demand calls and perform preventative maintenance on contracted and owned equipment. The Field Service Technician will work with mid-sized businesses and government agencies to ensure equipment is fully operational and properly maintained and will manage vehicle inventory and perform related administrative tasks. Lube-Tech offers a variety of internal and supplier training programs to ensure company Field Service Technicians are up-to-date with the latest technology and knowledge needed for this position.
- Install and set up new equipment independently with supervision or direction
- Display mechanical aptitude to service and repair a variety of equipment
- Drive to customer sites to troubleshoot equipment issues, perform required repairs, and answer customer questions
- Accurately log and report parts and inventory used to complete repairs
- Interact with management and other personnel to analyze and correct any equipment performance issues
- Follow specific preventative maintenance schedules
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on all machine components, replacing items as needed
- Complete field service reports and close out work orders as necessary
- Complete and submit daily/weekly online timecard and expense report
- Responsibility of company service van being stocked and maintained
- Participate in weekly tech meetings
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience and/or Training:
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Mechanical skills and aptitude
- Proven 1-3 years of field service experience
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Strong customer service ability
Licenses/Certificates:
Valid Drivers License
Technology/Equipment:
Familiarity utilizing Mobile Phones and Tablets and Microsoft Outlook
