The Licensed Clinical Social Worker Oncology will join an award-winning team and will be reporting directly to the Manager of the Oncology Institute. This individual will serve as a resource for cancer patients and their families primarily in outpatient clinics. Collaborating with oncologists and other providers, the Licensed Clinical Social Worker Oncologywill assist with the continuing of care to the patients and their families by educating them on coping skills and sharing of educational information for post treatment. Ideally the Licensed Clinical Social Worker Oncologywill come prepared with their Masters in Social Work, experience in the acute care setting with discharge planning experience and an oncology social work certification.
