Neurosurgery Nurse Coordinator

A Central California non profit Medical Center is actively seeking a Nurse Coordinator Neurosurgery.

Reporting to the Operating Room Nursing Manager for Clinical matters, and the Administrative Director of the Perioperative Service Lines for Operational matters, the Surgical Services Nurse Coordinator will play an integral role in this unit. This person will work closely with a large and diverse Surgery and PreOp/PACU Nursing Staff, serving as a liaison for Physicians and Providers, as well as Ancillary Services professionals.

As a Neurosurgery Nurse Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient management of all aspects related to neurosurgical patient care. Working closely with the neurosurgeons, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate the patient's journey from initial diagnosis to post-operative care and follow-up

As a coordinator, you will also be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary meetings and collaborating with various healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, social workers, and radiologists, to provide comprehensive and holistic care to patients. Additionally, you will maintain meticulous documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
