Manager Supply Chain Consumer BASIC FUNCTION The Manager Supply Chain position is responsible for overseeing and leading all Warehouse, Distribution and Demand Planning activities for Sabert's Consumer Division. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Warehouse and Logistics Management * Oversee off-site warehouse, warehouse associates and warehouse requirements such as safety, sanitation and other. * Ensure that all warehouse employees are properly trained, the warehouse operates within all safety and legal requirements, and all inspections and record keeping is current and accurate. * Manage available dock space and oversee the scheduling of inbound/outbound shipments. * Maintain inventory control with bin accuracy above 95%. * Project lead for any new systems or enhancements to the company warehouse management system. Leadership * Creates an environment, which supports the ongoing training and development of all staff within the Consumer supply chain organization. * Fosters a positive work environment through open and ongoing communications and an atmosphere of teamwork. * Supporting and coordinating with various departments within Sabert related to Demand Planning and Logistics (Finance, IT, Engineering, Consumer Sales and Marketing) Demand Planning Management * Responsible for overseeing all activities of demand planning including monthly forecast updates. * Establish the appropriate metrics and KPIs to monitor and improve operational performance. * Track/Assist/Coordinate long-term planning of supply chain constraints and opportunities (domestic and imports) * Provide direction to Demand Planner on key areas of interest which includes: * Inventory management, including forecasting, fill rates and weeks of supply * Management of product imports and production priorities to ensure on-time delivery * Coordinate all 3rd party relationships, including but not limited to co-packers * Empower DP to make autonomous decisions in an increasing capacity as available REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES · Warehouse management and warehouse systems based experience · Established system based Productivity Metrics, inclusive of inventory accounting procedures and cycle count programs · Familiar with transportation operations and warehouse layout analysis · Explicit knowledge of Demand Planning best practices · JDA experience with a strong statistics skills and business analytics background · A strong work ethic; operates with a sense of urgency and a desire and willingness to assume responsibility · Able to manage people effectively and to communicate with all levels of the organization · Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational and administrative skills, including time management, multi-tasking and project management · Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) · Proficiency in PC-based computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel QUALIFICATIONS Education * Bachelor's degree in business management, accounting, logistics or other related field Experience * 5+ years of experience in Warehouse and/or Demand Planning and Supply Chain Management * Prior supervisory experience. OTHER · Ability to split time between NJ based RDC corporate headquarters and Consumer warehouse.
