    Description

    The Leidos Defense Group has multiple openings for Enterprise Architects both Journeyman and Senior levels at Warner Robins, GA.

    This position is part of a large Military Intelligence Program supporting the USAF Air Combat Commands Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS); you will be responsible for designing efficient and scalable solutions. The Enterprise Architect will maintain business, systems, and information processes to support enterprise mission needs, that describe baseline and target architectures supporting DCGS sustainment planning and services activities. Analyzes candidate architectures, allocates security services, and selects security mechanisms. Develops enterprise hardware and software architectures for new capabilities and interfaces with existing and target architecture to meet user needs and cybersecurity architecture guidelines. Integrates essential system capabilities required for system restoration after a failure event. Implements strategy to ensure enterprise components can be integrated and aligned. Ensures systems requirements identify appropriate disaster recovery and continuity of operations requirements.

    These positions are supporting a proposal. We are expecting award and funding of these positions in February 2024.

    Primary Duties

    • Supports systems information technology (IT) rules and requirements.

    • Able to translate proposed capabilities into technical and data management requirements.

    • Supports IT architect, standards, security.

    • Evaluates security architectures and designs.

    • Assist with enterprise hardware and software architectures.

    • Supports appropriate levels of system availability.

    • Writes detailed functional specifications.

    • Documents and updates hardware and software architecture activities.

    • Provides input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation.

    Qualifications will vary, but will mostly require:

    • Bachelors degree and at least 4 years of closely related experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree.

    • Minimum 3 (up to 10) years of information technology experience.

    • Must be a U.S. citizen; must possess a current DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.

    • DoD 8570 compliance certs.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; experience building scalable, distributed, high availability services; enjoy technical challenges and constantly striving to improve existing services, systems, and techniques.

    • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

    • Knowledge of military policies and procedures relating to information technology.

    Preferred Quals

    • Previous AF DCGS system experience is highly desired.

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
