  • Job Description

    As a member of the Accounting/Finance Team, Accounting Manager will handle the overall management and supervision of the accounting department, will be responsible for the accounts payable and accounts receivable, monthly JEs, account review and reconciliation, preparation of reports for upper management, development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. This person as liaison to the internal operations team will ensure strong communication and connection between operations and accounting, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Potential advancement to Controller in 4-5 years.


    Accounting Manager skills and qualifications must include applicable degrees and certifications, previous work experience, technical skills, soft skills, and personality attributes that are compatible with accurate analysis of numbers, problem solving and communication, long hours in front of a computer. This position is a career path to Controller.


    Reports to Controller


    Manages daily:


    -Corporate AP

    -Corporate AR

    -Office admin


    Communicates and works closely with:

    • Corporate purchasing assistant
    • Payroll manager
    • Payroll clerk


    Education and experience

    • Self-motivated, enthusiastic initiator with quality performance with minimum supervision
    • Minimum Five years working in accounting supervisory role.
    • Must know ERP(Spectrum is a plus)
    • Accounting degree and /or MBA is a plus
    • Construction industry experience is a plus
    • Knowledge and experience in percentage of completion construction accounting method is a plus
    • Knowledge and understanding of construction billing is a plus
