Location: Hamburg, PA
Shift: 12 hour Shifts Available

Our Client is a leader in Postal Distribution. They are a newly located in theHamburg, PA. The Machine Operators role and responsibilities here at IWCO Direct will consist of attention to detail, quality in station, and optimally running the line to achieve maximum performance. Within the role of a Machine Operator, through various positions and tasks, you will be engaged in quality checks, equipment set-up/changeovers, strong communication upstream and downstream with your peers, and contributing to the success and well being of the business. You will be greeted by our trainer through an orientation on your first day, followed by a generous training period ensuring you are prepared to run the station successfully. Through this time, we will train you to ensure all aspects of the position are covered. The Machine Operator is the first line for the Production Supervisor to communicate details and performance. We will rely on you to drive the line and own your stations while promoting a constructive and positive mindset!. Pay Structure: Weekly
Rotating Schedule= 4days on 3days off then 3days on 4days off(Schedule Calender is provided)
Shift: 12 hour
Hours: 6PM-6AM
Job Summary:
The Machine Operator runs department equipment to produce product, such as printed material, envelopes, plastics, or mail pieces according to customers guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:- Conduct quality checks
- Read and understand production tickets
- Package and move finished product
- Perform basic machine set-up
- Complete computerized and paper documentation
- Efficient and accurate handling of finished product and mail material
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Assist coworkers in other departments when needed
- Operate manual pallet jack
- Follow all established processes, rules and regulations related to safety and other company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:- Ability to read and write basic English
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Strong attention to detail
Dress Code:
- CASUAL Warehouse Attire
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
Physical Requirements:- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating 3 or 4 days per week including weekend rotations
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Standard climate-controlled production environment; exposure to loud noise (PPE is provided)
- Ability to lift, carry and push/pull up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, pivot, crouch, squat, kneel, and stoop for up to 12 hours
- Sensory requirements: vision, hearing, feeling
- Upper extremity motion requirements: fine motor movements, pushing/pulling with arms, grasping and pinching
- Lower extremity motion requirements: reaching
- Pre-employment post-offer comprehensive assessment required
- Pre-employment background check and drug test required
