Charge Nurse RN

Under limited supervision, the RN Charge Nurse is responsible for the nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating our Philosophy for Person-Directed Care;

** $38-$45 (DOE) ** Shift: Fulltime 2:30PM- 10:30PM

To be successful in the role, you would have:

• Current RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Prior nursing experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care preferred
• Experience supervising RNs, LVNs, and CNAs

Work Duties:

• Facilitates nursing care provided to all residents and includes residents in decision making processes;
• In the supervisory role, the Nurse Supervisor takes responsibility to lead the CNA, LVN, and RN team and ensure that all procedures are followed during emergency situations.
• Assures that nursing staff is carrying out their respective duties toward resident care, which includes monitoring call lights so that they are promptly answered; and other resident and family care needs are met appropriately and in a timely manner
• Actively engages residents in participation in daily activities which are part of residents rhythm of daily life (including desired hygiene, grooming, and mobility);
