Position Description
CGI is looking for a SharePoint Developer for a Full-time position. This position is located in our Cleveland, Ohio and Pittsburgh, PA office, however a hybrid working model is acceptable.
In this role, you will work cross functionally with business operations and business analysts to create and optimize workflow operations. As a SharePoint developer with 4 years of experience who is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing .SharePoint applications using C# programming language and .NET framework.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. They should also have a minimum of 6 years of experience working as a SharePoint developer, with a strong understanding of C# programming language, .NET framework, and object-oriented programming concepts. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. In addition, experience with Agile development methodologies, unit testing, and source control tools such as Git is highly desirable.

Looking for a SharePoint Developer for:
Designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications using SharePoint technology framework and C# programming language.
Analyzing user requirements and developing software solutions to meet their needs.
Collaborating with other developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that software solutions are completed on time and within budget.
Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior developers.
Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to established coding standards and best practices.
Performing code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with software development standards.
Troubleshooting issues and providing timely and effective solutions.
Participating in the development of project plans, schedules, and timelines.
Keeping up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
Ensuring that all code is thoroughly tested before release.
Work with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, QA Analysts, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.
Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.
Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.
Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours and participate in an on-call rotation as-needed.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Design Technical Specification Documents for SharePoint Solutions.
Experience with Agile development methodology.
Experience with Databases (SQL or NoSQL) (nice to have).
Understanding of workflow-based logic.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Superior time and project management skills.
Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences.
Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods.
Ability to work through ambiguous situations.
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000 - $165,300
