TRAVEL RN / Registered Nurse / Med Surg RN / Medical Surgical Nurse
Estimated payment breakdown
~$2098.00-$2242.00/wk*
~$936.00-$1080.00 in weekly taxable income
~$26.00/hr-$30.00/hr*

Top rated facility in WV in need of a RN for a 13 week travel assignment.
13 Weeks - 12 Hour Nights; 12 hr nights, weekends as scheduled - 36GH - BLS - Preferred: CHEMO. # of beds: 16
Ratios: 1:05
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cancer patients, pneumonia, neutropenia,
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Blood administration, med surg tele
Are RNs required to titrate drips?: yes
Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Cardizem, Insulin, Heparin, PCA
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge nurse each shift. Usually does not take patients.
Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: 1 on each shift
RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): cpap, bipap, Nasal cannula, facemask
Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?: yes all 16 beds have tele, centralized monitor tech. RN's read strips.
Shifts & Scheduling: 7-7 Schedules are made monthly
Weekend Requirement: every other
Holiday Requirement: as scheduled
Is there a call or standby requirement?: no
Floating Requirements: yes, to other Non COVID units. Travelers are first to float.
Scrub Color/Dress Code: No color requirement, need to be clean and neat.
Unit/Department specific orientation: 3 days
