Responsibilities:

As the Nurse Manager - PACU, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the PACU
• Ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes
• Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives
• Facilitating staff development through training and mentorship
• Monitoring and managing departmental budgets
• Participating in strategic planning for the department and hospital

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• Current RN license or ability to obtain license upon hire
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive nursing experience in PACU or related field
• Previous leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and best practices
