    Unit Description:

    Sodexo is currently seeking a Full Time Food Service Production Managerto potentially join our team at the US Marine Corps Team at Mess Hall 303 Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The USMC's mission is to recruit, train, sustain, and deploy scalable, expeditionary forces worldwide to accomplish special operations To accomplish that, they equip and train Marines to succeed in austere conditions against a wide range of adversaries. Mess Hall 303 feeds approximately 4500-7500 meals per week. Mess Hall 303 Unit is located at 303 Barke Rd. Camo Lejeune, NC 28546

    We are looking for candidates who will:

    • have oversight of day-to-day operations;
    • have exceptional stress tolerance and able to deliver above average training to cooks;
    • deliver high quality food service;
    • ensure recipe compliance and food production for the dining facility;
    • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
    • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
    • mentor and develop the team;
    • create a positive environment; and
    • ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

    The ideal candidate:

    • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
    • has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
    • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
    • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
    • is experienced with menu planning & forecasting processes, and understanding of safe food handling practices, qualities, and standards (e.g. HACCP forms, temperature logs, safety audits, inventory management, etc.)

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
