Sodexois seeking a full-timeRegistered Dietitian (School Services)to serve as student nutrition and well-being leader forDorchester School District TwoinSummerville, South Carolina- just over 30 miles from beautiful Charleston.

This individual will become an integral member of our 10-person operations team. Enjoy quality of life - enjoy nights, weekends and holidays off!

The successful candidate will:

• be responsible for menu planning and nutritional analysis, including system-wide staff training on computerized nutrition-analysis system;
• be responsible for special diets required by the district and work closely with school nurses, students and families;
• work with nutrition issues related to food allergies, weight management and disordered eating patterns and other medical issues requiring meal selection assistance; and
• serve as the digital marketing specialist for the district.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

• are a Registered Dietitian with state licensure in SC;
• have knowledge of USDA regulations and processes as related to the National School Lunch Program,preferred;
• have familiarity and proficiency with PrimeroEdge Nutrition Analysis software,preferred;
• have a marketing background and knowledge of various digital marketing platforms,preferred; and/or
• have a strong passion for working with students and motivating long-term healthy nutritional habits.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
