Located on 7.5 acres oceanfront, Amrit unites the ancient inner-science of the East and Western technology for personalized luxury that promotes mindful living with unlimited potential. Utilizing the time-honored practice of Eight Limbs of Patanjali with Five Pillars of Wellness (Mindfulness, Nutrition, Fitness, Relaxation and Sleep), Amrit's 24/7 Personal Wellness Advisors work with guests to identify their Personalized Roadmap to Wellness. Amrit's two towers, Peace and Happiness comprise 182 wellness residents, 153 wellness resort suites including 30 destination spa suites, chlorine free pools, natural bistro with teaching kitchen, farm to table restaurant, meeting/celebration space, hair-health full service salon, outdoor activities/experiences and 100,000 sf of wellness and spa spread over four floors indoors and out. Featuring Aayush, an extensive hydrothermal circuit with co-ed and gender specific areas, plus hamam, flotation pod and terraces with panoramic ocean views.     Overview:

    The Membership Manager is responsible for directly supervising and organizing the meetings, processes and initiatives required to generate, maintain, and grow the membership base. Being the face of the membership, on hand for their feedback and thoughts, as well as a custodian presiding over access to the spa & wellness facility, preserving rules and conduct. Personally, driving and maintaining the productivity of the membership committee and taking an active role in members events and benefits. Oversees membership department and assists with spa & wellness staff along with support to the Wellness and Sales Director. Supports management team as needed.

    Responsibilities:
    • Requires thorough knowledge of the spa/restaurant/hotel practices and procedures in order to perform non-repetitive analytical work. May require knowledge of policies and procedures and the ability to determine course of action based on these guidelines. Supervision, management, and communication skills are required.
    • Requires ability to investigate and analyze current activities or information and make logical conclusions and recommendations. Ability to make decisions which are generally guided by established policy and procedures.
    • Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.
    • Organizes membership programming, developments and relations for Spa & Wellness Members.
    • Communicated member programming and events internally to operations and attend all necessary operational meetings to ensure event execution is successful.
    • Assist with monitoring Spa, Salon, Facilities and Restaurants to ensure member facilities are functional and efficient for members.

    Qualifications:
    • Two+ years of full employment in a related position.
    • Hotel experience and or private club experience preferred.
    • Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of goals.
    • Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.
    • Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, and clear.
    • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
    • Constantly communicates with others to exchange information
    • Regularly computer work, walking and standing
    • Occasionally sitting and lifting up to 50lbs
    • Occasionally work in outdoor elements, hot and cold temperatures
    • Occasionally work in noisy environments
    • A long-term city resident with extensive knowledge of the local area. Knowledge of local politics and has a personal network of contacts in different industries including but limited to, film, television, music, media and culinary, etc.
    • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays as well as the ability to travel and attend various social functions in the area.
    • A sophisticated communicator with high standards of performance together with excellent communication, problem solving and listening skills.
    • A charismatic, confident creative individual with in-depth knowledge of the local marketplace.
    • Experience with dealing with celebrities and high-profile events.
    • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
    • Ability to create strong relationships with guests, members, residents, and staff.
    • Respond to customer trends, member needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects
