<p><strong>Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract-to-Permanent) – Nonprofit Organization </strong></p><p>CV Resources is partnering with a dynamic nonprofit organization to identify an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist with NetSuite experience for a contract-to-permanent hire opportunity in South Seattle. In this role, you will be crucial in managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and supporting the organization’s mission through diligent financial operations.</p><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounts payable functions, ensuring compliance with nonprofit financial standards, and providing support to the Finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using NetSuite software and a strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles. This is an onsite position located in South Seattle, WA.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Process and review all incoming invoices, ensuring proper approvals and compliance with internal policies.</p><li><p>Manage the timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices, credit card statements, and employee reimbursements.</p><li><p>Reconcile accounts payable reports and ensure accuracy in the general ledger.</p><li><p>Review and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and payment receipts.</p><li><p>Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and maintain accurate records of payments.</p><li><p>Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, providing support for audit preparation.</p><li><p>Respond to vendor inquiries and provide excellent customer service, resolving any issues in a timely manner.</p><li><p>Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient management of vendor relationships and expenses.</p><li><p>Monitor and track accounts payable aging, ensuring timely payments and managing cash flow.</p></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.</p><li><p>Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience, with at least 1 year using NetSuite.</p><li><p>Experience in nonprofit accounting and accounts payable processes is preferred.</p><li><p>Strong knowledge of AP best practices, accounting principles, and compliance regulations.</p><li><p>Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</p><li><p>Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external vendors.</p><li><p>Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive financial information.</p><li><p>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</p></ul><p><strong>Benefits Package:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Generous vacation and sick leave policies.</p><li><p>Medical, dental, and vision insurance.</p></ul>PandoLogic.
