Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

24 months of Step Down Unit experience is required.

3 months of experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

This role will require floating to multiple units

Candidates must live at least 65 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

All staff may be required to work during a hurricane with all necessary safety precautions in place. Please only submit if you are willing to provide care during hurricane season.

No block scheduling allowed.

Even if you worked at an Ochsner facility within the past 12 months, you will still be required to attend some form of orientation.

Patient Diagnoses: heart failure, chest pain, ESRD, renal failure, neuro/stroke, resp failure, syncope

Special Procedures/Unit Details: med-surg, telemetry and stepdown unit

Special Equipment: bedside GE monitors available, AVA system cameras for fall prevention, vein finders

Float Requirement

No call in

RTO must be on profile and brought up in the interview or there is a high chance offers will be rescinded.

Orientation held 5 days a week

References: Not required for submission, however 2 Manager/Supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start contract.

BLS- RQI is accepted.

COVID19 Vaccine - Booster - Recommended to have additional Moderna/Pfizer/Novavax dose(s) OR second dose after J&J vaccine.
