DTAS BMD Operations Planner SME - Everett, WA
Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. TACTRAGRUPAC'sDistributed Architecture System (DTAS) team is seeking a Operations Planner Lead to join their team in Everett, Washington.
The DTAS provides dynamic, quality afloat training to Navy and Coast Guard Sailors to ensure a combat ready force capable of performing a broad spectrum of maritime missions. Special emphasis is placed on training ships' training teams, special evolution teams and watch teams to institutionalize the onboard capability to sustain and improve combat readiness.
Duties include:- Scenario development, scripting, and role playing experience; or recent in-depth Combat Systems Training Team
- Project planning
Required Qualifications:- BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 20+ years Surface Navy experience including technical management as a Naval Officer or Chief Petty Officer supervising combat system configuration, operation, maintenance, and repair
- Configuration and operation experience for one or more of the following systems: Modeling and Simulation, Joint Semi Automated Forces (JSAF) / Battle Force Team Trainer (BFTT), Tactical Data Information Link (TDL) generation systems supporting: LOS Link 11(A), LOS Link 16, Satellite-J, Joint Range Extension Protocol, and Multicast-TDL-J, Global Command and Control System (GCCS)

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
