Technical Services Quality Assurance Supervisor for 2nd Shift responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Summary:

The Technical Services (Quality Assurance) Supervisor is expected to lead, motivate, and supervise Technical Services (Quality Assurance) Technicians. These activities are expected to be done timely, without constant supervision. This will include observing, documenting, communicating and following-up on Technical Services (Quality Assurance) Technicians and their responsibilities.

• Supervisor Technical Services (Quality Assurance) Technicians assuring completeness of job duties
• Implement the training of Technical Services (QA) Technicians, cross-training activities and development of entirelynew functions
• Motivate Technical Services (QA) Technicians to assure that they are executing the functions that they have been assigned in a way that is consistent to the training and overall function requirements
• Execute the daily schedule of supervising in alignment with the department and company priorities to assure that Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and overall margin enhancement are enhanced by the daily activities. This includes determining scheduling of Technical Services (QA) Technicians start time, activities while at the job, and the finish time.

• Assure that the employees are following time and attendance requirements, time clock requirements, recording, documenting, and communicating all activities associated with the scheduling

• Document and communicate Safety, Food Safety, Quality and other issues to Technical Services management, and operations management in the plant

• Work in the Technical Services chain of command, while directly reporting to the Technical Services (QA) Manager

• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position. This is not a remote position.

Qualified candidates for the Technical Services (Quality Assurance) Supervisor position should possess the following:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education

• Exhibited good attendance and work ethics in past jobs

• Good verbal and written communication skills (English USDA Requirements are in English)

• Ability to work well with others as the job has inherent conflict and confrontational aspects

• Proficiency in using spreadsheets and word processors

• Ability to lead and motivate subordinates to perform the required activities
