    Resource Float Pool East Pod
    Registered Nurse / RN - Critical Care / ICU
    Full-time Nights 7pm-7am

    Full-time Requirements:
    6 (12 hour) shifts per pay period
    2 major & 2 minor holiday

    **Base Rate $53/hr**

    As part of the Elite Critical Care Nursing Float Pool, Registered Nurses deliver professional nursing care to age-specific patients on the Critical Care Units which includes Intensive Care and Intermediate Care Units. Follows the Board of Nursings (BON) Standards of Nursing Practice utilizing the nursing process in care delivery. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions within the parameters of their legal scope of practice and in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of Medical City Healthcare.

    Education / License / Certifications:

    • BSN Required within 24 months of hire
    • Current Texas RN License
    • Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association required
    • Professional Nursing Organization Membership strongly encouraged.
    • Certification in area of specialty preferred.
    Experience:
    • Minimum 18 months experience within an acute care hospital with a minimum one year in a specialty area.
    • Experienced caring for patients with an intra-aortic balloon pump, continuous renal replacement therapy and/or temperature management devices (intra-vascular or surface) strongly preferred.
