The NICU Nurse Practitioner will join an established Community Health Center that has been providing top quality care in New Mexico for the last 40 years. This healthcare system was recently recognized by Lifepoint Health as a National Quality Leader.

The NICU Nurse Practitioner will report to a tenured NICU and Medical Director and work alongside a team of talented RNs as well as experienced and qualified Certified Nurse Practitioners. This team is committed to top quality care and treats each patient as if they are family. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit consists of eight private rooms including four Labor, Delivery, Recovery, postpartum rooms.

Upon joining this close knit team, the NICU Nurse Practitioner will be promoting family-centered care, collaborating with neonatologists and other healthcare leaders in creating a plan for newborns care and providing direct treatment and management of health conditions. With family-centered care being a core tenet at this Hospital, the NICU Nurse Practitioner will provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding preventative health and wellness, treatment options and community resources. A strong, experienced Neonatal Resuscitation Provider will surely earn a quick interview.
