    What you will do:

    Sensormatic Solutions, as a division of Johnson Controls, partners with retail customers around the world providing them with Video, EAS, and RFID loss prevention/security products and services. The Install Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and managing the day-to-day installation operations within their district, working with multiple parties to meet customer expectations and achieve company goals.

    How you will do it:

    • Coordinate installation activity to meet customer expectations and job requirements. Select and utilize appropriate internal and external resources to complete the task within budget and timeline.
    • As a member of our Field Operations team, you will work closely with our customers and our internal team at multiple levels to meet deadlines, provide customer satisfaction, and achieve internal goals.
    • Ensure all systems are installed and running properly per scope of work provided.
    • Provide excellent written and oral communication to all parties involved throughout the installation process.
    • Provide estimates to sales or project management teams when needed.
    • Reconcile work order information on a daily basis for proper billing and oversee corrections. Review and modify to meet installation revenue goals and budget development.
    • Maintain, develop, and train outside contractors to meet the changing workload demand, efficient workload completion, and to maintain good profit margins.
    • Assists District Manager in other field functions. Offers assistance where needed to maintain efficient workflow.

    What we look for:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 2 years associate degree in Electronics and/or Networking, or technical military equivalent required.
    • Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
    • Must hold or be able to obtain a Texas DPS Security License
    • 5-7 years prior work experience in related fields, including construction, experience in installation, maintenance of alarm systems, video systems or other electronic fields.
    • General knowledge of electronics required. CCTV and computer/network experience preferred. Also have the ability to obtain Video platform certifications and be able to complete company provided EAS and RFID product training.
    • Must have a mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand and power tools.
    • Knowledge of local and state code, understanding of National Electric Code (NEC)
    • Ability to lead and support a team of in house and subcontractor personnel, including providing technical/mechanical training as needed.
    • Ability to perform site surveys and develop scope of work (SOW)
    • Ability to work between departments in a collaborative manner to achieve desired goals and customer satisfaction.
    • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
    • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
    • Working Knowledge of MS Office and PC skills required.
    • A good problem solver, ability to learn and adapt on the fly.
    • Strong negotiation skills, basic business acumen, strategic thinker that can focus on their job while keeping the overall picture in sight.
    • Highly organized, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Able to deal with ambiguity, maintain a positive attitude with strong leadership skills.
    • Excellent written, oral skills and presentation skills
    • Ability to travel, sometimes overnight, and work overtime as needed.
