    Platform Engineer

    The Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Ecolabs Client environment. Responsibilities include the architecture and deployment of end user computing, developing solutions for complex issues, implementing strategies across the global enterprise, and maintaining the end user computing platforms.

    This position is based in Naperville, IL or Eagan, MN

    What You Will Do:

    • Deployment and management of our MDM (Microsoft Endpoint Manger - Intune) managing Windows, MacOS, Android, and IOS.
    • Maintain PowerBI reports and reporting workspace for hardware and software inventories
    • Designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining client infrastructure
    • Perform troubleshooting and analyses of servers, workstations, and associated systems
    • Assist with development and management of Ecolabs client hardware and software strategy and
    • deployment
    • Engineer and support client security tools, baselines, and policies
    • Manage CyberArk EPM platform and upgrades
    • Support and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Cloud PC infrastructure
    • Collaborates with peers in other internal organizations to define standards
    • Review requests for new hardware / software standards including hands on testing and approval
    • Manage system compliance and patching for Windows and Office 365
    • Package and deploy business relevant applications using SCCM or Intune
    • Assist with deployment and management of technology rollouts
    • ProvideDevelop Support tools
    • Create and maintain Platform engineering knowledge base for systems and platforms we own
    • Provide top tier of Client Support

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree and 3 years' experience; or no degree and 7 years combined education and equivalent work experience
    • Strong knowledge with scripting in PowerShell
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL
    • Experience in administration of Windows, MacOS, IOS, and Android operating systems and applications
    • 3 years of combined experience with following technologies:
      • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
      • Mobile Device Management tools, preferably Intune (Microsoft Endpoint Manager)
      • Active Directory
      • Azure
      • Packaging tools (PowerShell Studio/Admin Studio/Visual Studio)
      • Azure Virtual Desktop
    • Experience around platform security and features, working closely with the security team.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Excellent project management and organizational skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work independently and within team environment
    • Experience with virtual desktop and application implementation (i.e.: Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, etc.)
    • Experience with Office 365 administration and support
    • Experience with PowerBI and APIs.
    • Experience with Windows Update for Business and Office Cloud Update
    • Strong attention to detail and Time Management skills
