Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

Guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend- Friday and Saturday are considered the weekend for nights

Floating Requirements: Will float to PCU and McDermott (behavioral health)

Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided: Navy Blue

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Total knees, total hips, should replacements, COPD, diabetes, wounds, IV infusions, dementia, oncology, fractures-hips, ankles; sepsis, pneumonia, cholelithiasis, ambulatory dysfunction, appendicitis, acute respiratory distress, CHF, dementia, ETOH/drug abuse

Additional Notes: Unit focuses on hourly rounding and bedside shift report. Looking for candidates who like change and want to learn. Travelers need to be flexible and self-directed. Primary patient population is Caucasian, low to middle class. We do have patients who are homeless and have mental health and/or addiction history

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity..

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Maximum days off: 7 days
