Assitant Nurse Manager Medsurg/ Oncology

An award-winning teaching hospital in New York is searching for an experienced ANMof Medsurg to join their team!

This acute care facility is home to 400+ beds, an adult/pediatric trauma center, NICU, robotic surgery, oncology, pediatrics, and a family birthing pavilion! This hospital utilizes the latest in technology and evidence-based practices. This facility utilizes a patient first philosophy.

Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. She/he will work collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.BSN required
• - Registration in New York State as an RN, diploma and license required.
• - Current ONS Chemotherapy and ImmunotherapyCertificate preferred or successful completion of ONS Chemptherapyand Biotherapy course within 4 months of transfer/hire
• - Oncology Nurse Certification preferred.
• -Current BLS required; current ACLS preferred.
• - 2-3 year's Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Experience with unit specific Oncology population preferred.
• Excellent organization, communication & interpersonal skills.
