Position Overview:

Valley Packaging is seeking career minded general utility to safely and efficiently set-up. run and clean up the stacker, conveyors and other equipment. Also, to be an additional team player on machine.

Available positions on 2nd and 3rd shift. Starting pay will begin $16.00 per hour. Evaluation every 30 day until you reach your 90 days for potentialincreases.

Responsibilities:

- Follow all safety, quality and production procedures.
- Teamwork effort and involvement in order to meet production goals.
- Reads MacOps program and machine schedule to review customer specifications and any special requirements
- Verifies ( measures) incoming-materials to verify correct size sheets
- Properly identify correct stacking patterns, print load tags and ensure correct use of bottom sheets and tie sheet per MacOps and customer specifications.
- Identify and non-conformance material and report to machine operator. (warp, etc.)
- Communicate any machine problems to the operator and supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through a 'clean as you go' attitude.
- Ensure line clearance functions have been performed before starting up of next order
- Performs box inspection through-out the run for box quality and report any changes to the operator
- Complete accurate records and verify sheet count, dunnage and unit appearance on all orders
- Monitor PH and viscosity of ink through-out the run of an order and report any changes to the operator
- Is involved with any and all aspects of the set-up once all task are performed.
- Monitor and organize the bottom sheet area at the respected machines
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

- High School diploma or GED

- No experience preferred

- Be able to work in a team environment
