    About the Role

    Are you a seasoned Systems Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge technology and a proven track record of mastering diverse skill sets? In this role, you'd be a permanent team member at our Logistics Center in Groveport, Ohio.     What You'll Do
    • Hardware Expertise: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in computer systems, including in-depth knowledge of CPU architectures, memory hierarchies, storage technologies, and PCI components
    • Boot Environments Mastery: Possess an expert understanding of both Legacy Boot and UEFI boot, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance.
    • Enterprise Support: Provide advanced support in enterprise-level production environments, resolving complex issues for users and network devices.
    • Advanced Troubleshooting: Employ advanced troubleshooting techniques to swiftly identify and resolve intricate technical challenges.
    • Operating System Mastery: Showcase expertise in installing and customizing both Windows and Linux operating systems, optimizing them for high-performance computing environments.
    • Automation and Deployment: Utilize automation tools and advanced deployment methodologies to streamline image deployment processes, leveraging tools such as PXE, SCCM, Clonezilla, WinPE, and others.
    • Network Configuration: Demonstrate a deep understanding of networking technologies, including VLANs, and configure switches confidently. Experience with Cisco or equivalent vendor equipment is highly desirable.
    • Scripting and Programming: Exhibit proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python, for automation and task optimization.
    • Virtualization Expertise: Showcase in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, or equivalent platforms.
    • DHCP and Network Services: Possess an advanced understanding of DHCP and other network services, contributing to efficient network configurations.
    • Documentation Excellence: Create comprehensive technical documentation using advanced tools and present complex concepts with precision.
    • Project Leadership: Take a leadership role in projects, guiding and mentoring junior team members, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
    • Customer Collaboration: Engage confidently in customer-facing roles, collaborating seamlessly with end-users and technical teams.
    • Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay at the forefront of technological trends, proactively seeking opportunities to integrate the latest advancements into project solutions.

      May be required to participate in or lead complex interdepartmental process improvement teams.
    • Provides management with ideas for process improvements.
    • May travel 25% of the time.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    • Ability to drive development of departmental vision, strategies, objectives and tactics.
    • Ability to lead or participate in corporate/inter-departmental teams, task enforcement engagements, etc.
    • Ability to effectively partner with others to obtain desired results.
    • Project management skills.
    • Six or more years of successful progressive experience in the area of complex technical assignments related to the area of job focus.
    • BS degree in IT or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of formal education, training and directly related job experience.
    • Minimum of one industry standard certification (CCNA, DCUCI, VCP, A+, etc.)
