Nurse Practitioner Gastroenterology
An award-winning acute care hospital located in central Vermont is now searching for an experienced Nurse Practitioner Gastroenterology to join their accredited healthcare team.
This not-for-profit, acute care hospital is known as the largest community hospital in the state and provides comprehensive medical services to residents throughout the region. This hospital is licensed for 130+ beds and has a 24-hour emergency department, intensive care unit, medical-surgical unit, obstetrics and gynecology unit, pediatrics unit, and a variety of outpatient services. This organization is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and has been recognized for its quality and patient safety initiatives by a number of organizations, including the Leapfrog Group, Healthgrades, and the American Heart Association.
The Nurse Practitioner will join a well-established practice that specializes in the evaluation and management of inflammatory bowel disease, GI motility disorders, advanced liver disease, and general gastroenterology. The Nurse Practitioner will work in an inpatient hospital setting and works closely with endoscopy, emergency, and hospitalist teams.
Requirements Include:
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or ability to obtain
- Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Vermont of ability to obtain
- Prior working experience in a gastroenterology or digestive services setting
