Position Title: Welder

Wage: $24.00 - $30.00/hour

Shift: 2nd shift, 10 hour days

Welder Responsibilities:

- Read and comprehend welding instructions and structural drawings

- Verify correct quantity and quality of parts welded

- Layout stitch welds, locations of weld and weld size for welders

- Work from drawings, patterns, fixtures and specifications

- Layout and operate both fuel gas and plasma hand torches for fitting purposes

- Move material using a forklift and crane according to standard operating procedure, safety regulations and practices

- Perform cleaning, assembly and straightening operations

- Perform the following welding processes: GMAW, Flux, Sub Arc, etc.

Requirements for Welder:

- At least two years of experience as an open table fitter

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

- Heavy manufacturing experience in a job shop environment a plus
