Channel Control Merchants (CCM) is one of the largest reverse logistics retailers in North America. Reverse logistics retailing is the sustainable practice of selling customer-returns, open-box items, and other distressed inventories that would otherwise end up in a landfill or an incinerator. We extend the life of products by getting them into the hands of our retail customers who enjoy the extreme discounts and the unique and fun shopping experience.

We're looking for a passionate and analytically minded professional to join our merchandising team.

What you will do:

• Work closely with the merchant team to support a sales plan at the company, category and store level.
• Monitor, analyze and present data into actionable steps to increase sales.
• Create and maintain store attributes file for allocation and planning.
• Identify trends in sales by store and by category; drive increased sales through strategy.
• Track deliveries, oversee shipping, receiving and warehousing movement of inventory.
• Create and implement strategies that will minimize stockouts while maximizing inventory turns.
• Provide guidance regarding selling patterns, the timing of future purchases, and purchasing strategies.
• Perform queries and create reporting dashboards that translate to executional strategies

Requirements

What we look for:

• Degree in finance, fashion merchandising or business
• 1-3 years experience in Allocation, Merchandise buying or Inventory analysis.
• Experience in Tableau and BI reporting tools.
• Strong business analytical mindset
• Strong computer skills in Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Travel

Work Hours and Benefits:

• Full Time position located in Hattiesburg, MS

Salary Description

$55,000-60,000 per year
