    CBRNE Project Manager

    Description

    Leidos is currently sourcing candidates for a CBRNE Project Manager to support Security Engineering Programs (SEP) within Homeland Security Solutions in Washington, DC.

    The CBRNE Project Manager will serve as the lead representative for the analysis, organization, and execution of integration projects. Utilizing extensive experience in detection and identification technologies, successful candidate will determine requirements, coordinate efforts, and manage financial expenditures associated with the deployment of sensor suites and peripheral hardware. Successful candidate will interface between subcontractors and customer representatives to ensure requirements are met while maintaining functionality and serviceability and meeting all safety and security needs of the project.

    As the project manager, successful candidate will develop, assess, and maintain architectural drawings, assess power and network requirements, and account for and mitigate environmental concerns associated with any project as assigned. Modifications to existing projects will be meticulously documented and reported upon request by the customer. Candidate will be the designated point of contact for each project and will communicate all questions and concerns between Leidos, the customer, and any involved subcontractors. Candidate will provide oversight and direction during all phases of each project, will complete a final inspection and punch list, and will close each project upon sign off by customer representative.

    Successful candidate will update and report the status of each open project on a regularly scheduled basis, providing meaningful assessments of progress and realistic estimates on time until completion. Candidate will determine priority of labor requirements in accordance with the needs of the customer and will direct efforts among multiple projects while ensuring fiscal responsibility and achieving on time delivery.

    First Shift: Monday-Friday 6 am to 2 pm
    Location: Washington, DC

    Desired Experience:
    Past military experience in working with Chemical, Biological and Radiological equipment

    Operational familiarity with Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry, Fourier Transform Infrared, Electro-Chemical reactive sensors, Fluorescence, Scintillation, Radiological aerosol analysis

    Demonstrated experience in project management

    Familiarity with network integration requirements

    Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems including pneumatics

    Baseline understanding of commercial HVAC

    Ability to read, interpret, and modify drawings

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    Experience in directing workforce and managing expenditures

    Primary Responsibilities

    Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
    Apply knowledge of operation, capabilities and limitations of equipment and systems in the development of installations.
    Assess operational requirements, develop plans, coordinate installations, evaluate and transfer upon completion.
    Maintain work records; prepare clear and concise reports.
    Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
    Learn and observe all appropriate safety precautions as required, including, but not limited to, OSHA General Industry Safety Orders, Respiratory Protection Program, and Safety Directives.

    Basic Qualifications

    Required Education & Experience:

    Bachelors Degree with 8+ years experience
    Must have an active Top Secret security clearance.
    Must be a US citizen
    Candidate must be able to follow written and oral instructions without supervision
    Ability to work independently and direct a subcontractor or team
    A valid drivers license or the ability to meet the transportation requirements of this position.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Hands on technical experience in mechanical, electrical, or any of the basic sciences
    Basic networking experience

    Technical experience in analytical Chemistry, Biology, or Radiological science.

    Ability to work flexible hours (on call, shift work, weekends, and holidays as needed)

    Preferred Qualifications

    Desired Experience:
    Past military experience in working with Chemical, Biological and Radiological equipment

    Basic knowledge of chemistry and chemical processes
    PMP

    CBRNE experience (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Explosive) (preferred)

    CAD

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
