    TOOL & DIE MAKER

    Location - West Bridgewater, MA

    Overview

    Cheer Pack is looking for a seasoned Tool & Die Maker to join their dynamic, talented team in their West Bridgewater, Massachusetts facility.     Responsibilities:

    • Perform complex mold maintenance, including problem-solving for customer issues and initiation of continuous improvement
    • Repair and rebuild injection molds through welding, rework, machining, polishing, and finishing to required surface finish
    • Fit and assemble parts, testing completed molds for proper operation
    • Verify that repaired injection molds and related tooling conform to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances, and alignments using various test equipment
    • Read and understand mold drawings and recommend mold design changes
    • Maintain and organize spare parts inventory
    • Operate machine tools such as drill press, surface grinder to prescribed dimensions and surface finish
    • Operate crane to remove or relocate molds to specific workstations or areas
    • Provide general maintenance and clean up of all Tool room equipment
    • Participate in Continuous Improvement and assist in its implementation
    • Coordinate tooling and equipment availability, repair, and maintenance
    • Respond to problems by performing corrective technical or mechanical solutions
    • Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices

    Qualifications:

      • 5+ years of Tool and Die assembly, maintenance and repair experience
      • Experience with injection molding dies
      • EDM capability a plus
      • Highschool or GED required
